Kristin Neff is currently an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a pioneer in the field of self-compassion research, conducting the first empirical studies on self-compassion nearly twenty years ago. In addition to writing numerous academic articles and book chapters on the topic, she is author of the book Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself. In conjunction with her colleague Dr. Chris Germer, she has developed an empirically supported training program called Mindful Self- Compassion, which is taught by thousands of teachers worldwide.

They co-authored the Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook and Teaching the Mindful Self-Compassion Program: A Guide for Professionals. Frank Bond is Professor of Psychology and Management at the University of London. Walter Osika
Associate Professor, Karolinska Institutet

Walter Osika is a physician specialized in internal medicine, cardiology & psychiatry, associate professor in clinical neuroscience, and currently director at the Center for Social Sustainability, Karolinska Institute, Sweden

His research interests are early risk factors for cardiovascular disease and psychiatric disorders, mental stress and exhaustion disorders, as well as prevention and treatment of stress related disorders.

Also, he is interested in music & health, social neuroscience, including research on empathy, compassion and how thoughts, feelings and behavior at both individual and group level are affected under stress. How different types of mind sets are related to sustainability, and whether these mind sets and in the long run behaviors can be influenced, are the subject of several studies he conducts in collaboration with, among others, researchers at Lund University.

How the COVID-19 pandemic impact mental health, inequality and particularly vulnerable groups, and how evidence-based guidelines can improve multilevel governance is the focus of the comprehensive research project PERISCOPE, in which he participates together with a significant number of partners from different parts of EU.

David Ershammar is learning design lead  for Mindshift. He support organisations and groups to learn and co-cocreate to fulfil their ambitions for social change, sustainability and transformation. With a background in public sector innovation, NGO sector and grounded in insights and practices from complexity sciences he regularly helps teams, organisations and multi-stakeholder initiatives develop and create impact. Apart from his own platform Omtänk utveckling he is part of collaborations such as Mindshift, Malmöakademin, Demokratilabb and Reimagine Leadership and communities of practice such as Art of Hosting and Liberating structures.
